Please remember that we are all volunteers. Your 1660 Governors are people just like you who volunteered from your association to aid in the betterment of our league. Please treat them as you would treat your neighbor, with kindness.
Remember, you could be your association's governor next year!
Please ensure everyone follows the Communications Procedures.
The 1660 Organization Chart is to help you with what is required of you from 1660 Hockey League. Issues from parents should come directly from team management to the 1660 Governor or home Association President, not directly to the 1660 Executive. Communications directly to the executive may be disregarded without explanation.

A 1660 Governor should be a computer savvy individual, who is good with people, who has respect for the game of hockey and is prepared to become comfortable with interpreting written guidelines that are in place.
The 1660 Governor should be a bipartisan volunteer who is available for calls or emails and willing to volunteer a few hours a week to aid 1660 Hockey League's Executive in facilitating and directing association coaches and managers with the Bylaws and Regulations of 1660, Hockey Alberta, and Hockey Canada's Bylaws and Regulations, with the assistance and guidance of a 1660 Senior Governor and the 1660 Hockey League Executive. Each governor will be assigned a tier to which they are required to manage (or govern) their teams by tracking their HCR rosters, affiliate players, monitoring game sheets, game changes, penalties and be the manager's interpreter regarding the bylaws & regulations. 1660 Governors will have the guidance and aid of a Senior Governor, and the 1660 Executive.
